We purchase and ship new essential items like car seats, beds, cribs, formula, strollers, and diapers to foster homes, reducing the financial burden and stress on foster families and allowing them to focus on what matters most.

Our programs are made possible by generous donors from the community.

More foster parents are needed each year, but factors such as stress, cost, and lack of support discourage some from opening their homes for the first time or continuing to foster. When arriving at a new home, foster children often lack essential items for their safety and comfort, which can be a significant cost to families.
Bright Sky provides families with the support they need so that every foster child can have a safe and loving home.

How it Works

  • Request

    1. REQUEST

    We receive online requests from parents, caseworkers, and partner organizations for essential items that foster or kinship families need for their children.

  • 2. CONFIRM

    After receiving the request, we verify the information and contact the family to determine the best way to fulfill their needs.

  • 3. DELIVERY

    After determining the essentials needed, we purchase and ship the items directly to the family or arrange pickup at nearby stores if the need is more urgent.
